Greetings

In most occasions say "Hi" and address the person with first name.

- Nice to meet you, X.
-Nice to meet you, too.

-It is noce to meet you
- you too.

-Nice to meet you
-Glad to meet you
-It is a pleasure  to meet you

- I am Philip. Please call me Phil

-How's everyhitn?
-How's it going?
-How are things going?
-How are you?
-How are things?
-What are you up to?
-What have you been up to?
-What are you up to tomorrow?
- fine.
- I'm fine.
- Not bad
- Great.
-So-so

Note: In the US, "How are you" is used as "Hi". In response just say "I'm fine".  If the person asked more question provide longer answers.

Good evening is a greeting and means "Hello". "Good night" means bye.
